First, experience. Estate planning may seem simple at first glance, but it is not. In fact, this area of law is perhaps one of the most complex and highly evolved areas. My active experience in family law, estate planning and probate matters will work to protect you and your assets during your lifetime and beyond. Likewise, unlike many business planning attorneys, I owned and operated a construction company for many years. I have firsthand business experience that others cannot draw upon or understand. For example, I know the importance of identifying the goals of a business, whether as part of starting a new business or restructuring an existing one. I also lived the business of contracts, contract enforcement (both sides) and more.
Equally important, trust. You, your family, your retirement - let's face it, your dreams - should not be left to chance. Trust is just as important as experience. Trust is not something that can be taught in business or law school. It is a fundamental character trait that only certain people truly possess. Through all of my business and legal services, I have developed a reputation for truthfulness and character. People like to work with me and hire me because they trust me.
Whether estate or business planning, confidence in the experience and trustworthiness of a person or firm you select to help you is the key. There is simply no sense in implementing a protection plan that will not work to protect. I welcome the opportunity to provide my services with personal attention and affordability.
